This is a guide to Eravity Lifting compiled by Dr. Choi Byeong-geun of SHINE U Clinic Konkuk (3 minutes walk from Konkuk Univ. Station Exit 1).
At some point, you start to notice people around your age beginning to take care of their faces one by one. When elasticity collapses, fine wrinkles can become progressively deeper and longer, and if elastic fibers like collagen and elastin are damaged, sagging can become more pronounced. I, too, was bothered by my blurred jawline in the mirror and my pores, which suddenly seemed larger, so I decided to get a check-up before it was too late.
Signals from a Collapsed Facial Line
When elasticity decreased, I first noticed changes in my facial contour. To summarize, this was the progression:
- Jawline became indistinct, blurring the V-line
- Face felt larger than before
- Tendency for a double chin, with skin gathering under the jaw
Sagging didn't happen all at once; rather, small changes accumulated until it became noticeably apparent one day.
My Concerns with the Many Types of Lifting
There are so many different lifting devices that it was not easy to decide which one was right for me. So, after checking my skin condition through a one-on-one consultation at a clinic with extensive clinical experience, I chose Eravity Lifting.

Two Modes and Vertical Heat Delivery
Eravity did not have just one mode, but two. I was told that it uses a vertical heat delivery method, which builds heat from the inside rather than concentrating heat on the surface. This helped deliver thermal energy deep into the skin to refine the contour in the desired direction.

Enlarged Pores and Tightening
One of the things that became noticeably apparent when elasticity decreased was my pores. It was a progression where the strength supporting the face decreased, leading to enlarged pores and accompanying fine wrinkles. After washing my face, pores that I hadn't noticed before felt larger and couldn't be smoothed out with makeup, which bothered me. As I systematically replenished my skin's elasticity, I was able to experience tightening where my pores became smaller than before, and results may vary from person to person.

4-Step Control and Pain Burden
I was informed that Eravity allows for 4 levels of intensity adjustment and delivers up to 40Hz energy deep into the dermal layer. As I have sensitive skin, I was worried about pain or redness due to heat, but since it uses a method of accumulating low energy multiple times, the heat sensation was minimal to the point where I felt comfortable, though there may be individual differences. The fact that anesthesia was not required also eased my burden.

Collagen and Fibroblasts
Eravity is a device approved by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, which put my mind at ease. I had heard a lot about the importance of collagen for elasticity, but this time I also learned about the role of fibroblasts, which produce collagen and elastin. Just as a building needs a strong foundation, fibroblasts provide the foundation for elasticity. This also naturally decreases with age, so it was meaningful to care for it from the fundamental stage.
In What Cases Was It Helpful?
I was told that Eravity can be helpful in cases where elasticity has suddenly decreased and the facial contour has become blurred, or when the complexion looks dull due to an uneven tone. The fact that it can be applied to various skin types was impressive. However, just because many people prefer it does not mean it is suitable for everyone, so I felt that carefully checking one's skin condition and determining if it is right for oneself is the most important process.
If your facial contour has blurred due to decreased elasticity, a condition check is more important than self-diagnosis. Consult to see if Eravity Lifting is right for you. If you are curious about the overall elasticity of your face, you can also compare Eravity Genesis and Thermage FLX.
